Who We Are

American Beacon Advisors, formerly AMR Investments, began providing short-term fixed income client service as an independent entity in November 1986. Prior to 1986, our investment officers successfully managed the operating funds of the Treasury Department of AMR Corporation. Their investment success led to the formal creation of American Beacon Advisors to provide business management, advisory, administrative, and asset management consulting services to the American Beacon Funds, American Airlines, Inc., and other institutional investors.
