Investment Objective

A multi-manager Fund seeking long-term capital appreciation and current income primarily through investments in mid-market capitalization U.S. stocks.

Key Points

  • Employs a value style of investing that seeks undervalued securities with above-average earnings growth expectations.

  • “Value” is determined based on each company’s financial profile, including its price-to-earnings ratio, assets carried below market value, price-to-book value ratio, financial strength, dividend yield and growth expectations.

  • The Fund is invested primarily in stocks of U.S. companies with market capitalizations similar to those found in the Russell Midcap® Index at the time of investment.

  • Fund assets may include common and preferred stocks, convertible securities, U.S. dollar-denominated American Depositary Receipts and foreign stocks traded on U.S. exchanges.

Investing in the securities of mid-capitalization companies involves greater risk and the possibility of greater price volatility than investing in larger capitalization and more established companies. The intrinsic value of stocks selected for the Fund may never be realized by the market, and the price of value stocks may go down. While investing in value stocks may limit downside risk over time, the Fund may produce more modest gains than riskier stock funds as a trade-off for this potentially lower risk.
