The Enhanced Cash Portfolios seek to achieve higher current income and total returns than bank short-term investment funds and registered money market funds, while providing relative prinicipal stability and secondarily, liquidity. To accomplish this objective, we purchase securities with slightly longer maturities than are allowed in a registered money market fund.
